Director of Commercial Operations and Business Development

Bobby Schmidt is the Director of Commercial Operations and Business Development at Tonian Renewables. With over 10 years of commercial and business development experience, Bobby has been a leader across a range of industries and is excited to bring his experience to the Solar Operations and Maintenance (O&M) marketplace. At Tonian, Bobby will be responsible for long term contract negotiations, business development, and client relations.

Bobby graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Corporate Finance. Prior to joining Tonian, Bobby worked as the Director of Business Development at ITE with an emphasis on medical device product development engineering. During his time, he focused on long term partnerships and closed landmark deals for the organization. Bobby also served as the Director of Business Development providing consulting services to companies focusing on expense reduction initiatives.
